Saginaw, MI – On Wednesday, February 15, 2012, Tammy Bernier will receive the YWCA Women of Achievement Award in Business during the 2012 YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region Women of Achievement Awards Dinner and Ceremony at Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw.
Bernier, who is President and CEO of Duperon Corporation, a Saginaw manufacturing firm, will receive her award in the company of nine other women who are being honored in categories including Community Leadership, Education, Healthcare, and Entrepreneurship.
The YWCA, incorporated in December 1891, has spent the last 119 years providing valuable programs and services to the Great Lakes Bay region. Their mission is to promote the economic advancement of women in the Great Lakes Bay region through education, professional development, and support services. The YWCA Women of Achievement Awards “seek to honor women leaders who, through a lifetime of volunteer or professional activities, have made outstanding contributions to empower women or eliminate racism in their organizations or communities.”
