Terry Duperon, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Duperon Corporation, has been awarded the 2016 Achievement Award by Women of Colors. The Great Lakes Bay Region nonprofit strives to promote multi-cultural diversity and enhance community relations in Saginaw County by performing community service, mentoring youth, and collaborating with other organizations.
The Achievement Award is given in recognition of "unselfish contribution to the welfare of the community through personal commitment and courage." Dennis Browning, Mayor of the City of Saginaw, noted that the award recognized Duperon's "demonstrated excellence in business leadership and his ability to mentor and inspire local youth and entrepreneurs throughout the Saginaw community."
"It is an honor to be recognized by this great organization, especially given the amazing work they do in the community," said Duperon. "To be included in this group of people who are so committed and doing so much good is very special."
Duperon has spent more than thirty years developing his business in Saginaw, and is committed to continuing the growth of Duperon Corporation within the community.
