John Trofatter, Director of Sales and Business Development at Duperon Corporation, has been inducted into the prestigious New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) Select Society of Sanitary Sludge Shovelers (5S Society). Members of the 5S Society are selected on merit, typically in recognition of "outstanding, meritorious service above and beyond the call of duty". The award was presented at a June 6 ceremony during the NEWEA Spring Meeting in Groton, Connecticut.
Trofatter has more than 35 years of sales and application experience in process control and instrumentation for water, wastewater, and power industries. He is an active member of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA), and has authored numerous papers and articles on the application of process control implementation.
"It is truly an honor to be recognized by my peers, and I'm very proud to be part of the 5S Society," Trofatter said. "It's a wonderful group, and each member is doing good, important work within our industry."
