Duperon Corporation employees Josh Cannon and Chuck Neeley completed training through the Merrill Institute to receive G-1-G4 Certification in accordance with American Welding Society standards. The training instructed students on the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) pulse process on stainless steel base material in both horizontal and overhead positions.
Cannon, a resident of Saginaw, joined Duperon Corporation in 2016. Neeley, a resident of Flushing, has been employed by Duperon Corporation since 2014. While relatively new to the assembly team, both have been highly motivated to make a difference and add to their skills. "They each practiced diligently," said Steve Billmeier, Assembly Manager. "They spent more than 50 hours in preparation for the certification exam, and it proved very beneficial for them. The opportunity was there, and they made it happen."
