We have music outside including local favourites Something Sultry with the headlining act Soul'd Out starting their gig around 9:30 pm - don't miss them!
As usual we have the acoustic stage indoors running from 2 until 9, and this year we are finishing up inside in the warm with popular folk rock band Big Sky in the Huntsman's restaurant as they take us through to midnight.
In addition there's a bouncy castle and other entertainment for the kids.
Come and join us once again for a whole day of music of all types in our annual ShireFest. Bring your own foldable chairs and come early to grab your favourite spot. `This year we are covering the car park so it doesn't matter about the weather and you won't all freeze in the evening - but remember that in early June it can get chilly at night.
`As always the event raises money for charity - this year once more we are supporting Noah's Ark Children's Hospital and in addition Diabetes UK. Remember that as everyone gives their time for free and with generous sponsors helping to pay for the sound equipment and stage you can be sure that every penny of your ticket price goes to good causes.
And at only £10 per adult it's fantastic value for money for a memorable day out, as many previous attendees have said.
As usual, we'll be running a minibus to take people home - make sure you book a place as soon as you get here as it's first come, first served. So get a mate to drop you off early, grab a ride back and enyoy the day!
Leave the M4 at M48 signposted Chepstow, then immediately after the Severn Bridge turn off and at the first roundabout, turn off onto to the A466 signposted to Chepstow(3rd exit). At the next roundabout follow the A466 to Monmouth/Tintern(2nd exit). Continue along this road until you see Racecourse Garage on your left and turn left immediately onto the B4235 to Usk if you go on to another roundabout you have missed the turning. The Huntsman Hotel is approx. 5 Miles along the B4235 on the right.
DO NOT TURN OFF THE B4235 WHERE IT IS SIGNPOSTED FOR SHIRENEWTON.
Leave the M4 at junction 24 and join the A48 signposted to Chepstow (2nd exit from roundabout). Travel along the A48 for approx. 10miles and carry on through the 30 mph limit at Caerwent. After that the road becomes a dual carriageway with a central reservation for a short while. At the end of the dual carriageway you will see a railway bridge, take the next left turn signposted Shirenewton.
Follow the road up the hill to Shirenewton approx.2.5miles. When driving into the village of Shirenewton you will see the Tredegar Arms pub on your right, turn right after it and then immediately left (a staggered junction). Follow this road which will take you down a steep hill, at the bottom of the hill there is a cross-roads and The Huntsman Hotel is directly in front of you.
